Hi Christal

Is the feeling you are getting usually when you are shifting your gaze or on turning your head. The feeling like you go down in an elevator and you get that that sinking feeling in your chest and stomach but now you feel it in your head?If that is what you discribe then is is the eyes lagging with the information from the ear,is the vestibular ocolar reflex that is out of kilter. This is actually a dizzy spell, important info for doc as this dizzy spell is very short, just a quick second but can happen all day long with feeling of false motion constantly in between. The types of dizzy spell sets one ear disorder apart from another yet often people do not realise that this feeling is actually classified as a dizzy spell so we go to the doctor and we say we feel dizzy all day long, yet in essence the dizzy spell only lasts a second, but it just happens every time on moving eyes or head so can happen thousands of times a day.I often also discribed it like it was as if the whole brain was catching up with the rest of the head or like the brain is doing a little twirly.

If you are also experiencing those symptoms with certain sounds then it is called the Tullio's phenomenom

Have you been seen by a neuro otologist Christal. Most inner ear disorders clear up by it self or heal spontaniously but if you are still having symptoms 24/7 then you should get a referral .

All the best
