Hi James,

I seem to be getting adverts popping up on the RHS of my posts today. I was a little bit drunk the other night and was doing tests on Luminosity and I also followed a research trials link off VEDA today. The 2 I see relate to adds for Luminosity and Research trials??? I have not put them there and I don't want anyone to think I'm spamming or advertising. Very confused :confused: I think Luminosity might be worth joining for the "brain fog" but I haven't decided yet, it seems like a legit site but I'm not promoting it. They might be hooked into my email or something. If they are harmless and helpful I don't mind them being there but if they are spam or something can u tell me how to get rid of them pls?

The system is providing the ads directly from google to the right hand side of posts and generally the ad content is driven by the content /keywords within the posts (it is not accurate sometimes)

So don't worry about them :)

Ps. It can also show posts relating to your own surfing habits. But then someone else looking at the ad maybe presented with different content depending on their surfing habits

Point is we have no control over what google present to a greater extent but can speak to them if it becomes a major issue
