Been going back and forth for 2 months now with ear infection/ sinus problem. Thought the antibiotics were stopping the sinus infection and also the dizzies. However, twice my doc has given me steroids (prednisolone) and there has been improvement to my dizzies. Is this drug used for Vertigo/VN? or is it the extra push of energy i got from the steroids helped me to control my dizzies more? im so confused as im off the steroids again and feel crap again (dizzy,tired, mental confusion). I also have an underactive thyroid which is getting better with the thyroxine and im doing tai chi and VRT i believe both have helped. But over the weekend (3 days into taking prednisolone) i was flying! dancing singin and doing arts and crafts all at the same time. The doc has given me more for inflammation of the sinus and im thinking of taking them to see if the dizzies go again. what does anyone think?

Starting the second week of january I was dizzy. My GP diagnosed me with vestibular neurotitis.

After about 10 weeks the dizzyness was complety gone.

Since about a week however, I feel somewhat dizzy again. Not like in january but sometimes when I make a sudden head movement I feel a little peak of dizzyness.

Is this decompensation? Or is there something else I should be worried about? This coming back, scares me a lot.

Maybe worth mentioning. Had 2 wisdom teeth pulled the week before easter (no problems) and had another 2 pulled last wednesday. So that last dentist visit could be a cause.
