Like many people I have become dangerously absent minded since I got the dizzies. Just for fun, what is the daftest thing you have done since getting the dizzies?

My worst was forgetting the PIN for my bank card leaving me with no way to get cash for a whole weekend.

My favourite tricks are leaving the front door unlocked and failing to get off the bus when it is my stop.

I'm interested to hear if other people are as hopeless as me!

Never had anything as bad as that, when bad I would start a sentence and then struggle to get the words out or remember what I was going to say

With me it's trying to remember words too, or standing staring into the fridge wondering what the heck I'm looking for - only to realise it's not something from the fridge I want at all

I've totally done all those things! Plus sometimes I'll put the peanut butter in the fridge and the milk in the cupboard. Yikes.

yup, I've done all of that.

I rang for a Pizza forgetting I had no money in the house (My brother had to bail me out)

I walked round Tesco for 45 minutes trying to remember what I wanted and it was already in my trolley.

Scariest one was nearly taking my headache tablets twice in 15 minutes as I'd forgotten I'd already taken them.

hehe some funny stories

the only strange things i have done is like Lambo, trying to speak to people without finding proper words... i always seem like i am drunk or drugged..

Although i nearly walked out of a store without paying for something, as i totally forgot i had it in my hands.. lol and it wasn't a small item it was a heavy bulky item.. i think i just wanted to get out.. needless to say i did pay and apologized and explained everything.. i dont think they believed me but took it no further.

I forget words all the time. i can be talkin to someone and completely forget their name, its awful.

silliest thing happened last night but dont know if i can blame the dizzies. walked along to the shop in the dark and on way back realised my feet felt funny. I looked down and realised i had two different shoes on lol. felt like a right fool, thank goodness it was dark and nobody could see.

Cool

Yep, I've done quite a few of the above on a regular basis.

I've tried washing my face whilst still wearing my glasses (then again, so's my mate but she was half asleep at the time).

I've walked upstairs with an item which needed putting away in the kitchen.

I've almost changed from 5th gear in my car to reverse - thinking I had a 6th gear (lucky I didn't fully disengage the clutch or I'd've been shedding bits of engine all the way down the M1!).

I've been talking to a friend and suddenly gibberish has become my first language. I'll try saying an entire sentence and it comes out completely garbled, not even as words.

My co-ordination's been so bad at times that I've repeatedly poked myself in the eye without even closing it, even though I can see my finger coming.

On occasions people have asked me a question, and I've sat there staring at them like they're an alien for nearly 30 seconds, unable to even think in order to say anything.

No wonder our loved ones think we're all barking (mad)!

How about not being able to find your car in a car park for half an hour. Mind you that was after an appointment with a neurologist who suggested you were making it all up.

Oh, Marie!

You didn't half have me laughing over that one! That's the sort of thing I'd do!
