Angry I'm fed up today and need to rant!!!

Evening all,

Apologies for this but I'm so fed up!!!

I'm now in week 24 of this ****ing stupid illness. 99% of the the time, I'm positive and just ignore the condition. However, I've had 6 bad days. Feel like I'm never going to get better, wondering if I make it worse as I'm quite a driven person. I'm active up to the point of feeling like I'm walking strangely and then I rest, maybe this is too much?

Ever feel you want to scream? I'm there right now. And guess what, getting another bloody cold which will just mess it up as well.

Ranting...

Billy.

Aww billy, sending some hugs your way hun. its very difficult to find that middle ground where you arent overdoing it. the trick is to try to keep your activity levels the same on good days and on bad days. we tend to go overboard when we have good days then pay for it with a few bad days cos we overdone it. so yes, you may need to cut down the activity a tad on the good days and keep it the same for both good and bad. this means maybe doin a bit more on good days and less on bad to find that middle ground. remember to rest too. hope the cold doesnt set you back too much but you know you will get back to where you were once its gone. chin up hun, you will get there. xxxxx

Billy, this is the worst year I can ever remember for colds and bugs - I've had one after the other and right now I'm sick of them - and the dizziness they bring, grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
Go on and scream, I'll join in
Hope you feel better soon xxx

Billy I suspect the fact that you are brewing a cold is part of the problem..colds are a dizzy persons worst nighmare..and as Pam says..this year..there just seems to be one weird cold/virus after another..take heart in the fact that once the virus passes..you should return to where you were before the cold.

Maybe you might be doing too much too soon? That might be making you feel worse instead of better? Also like everyone said the colds and flu's going around are making you feel alot worse - almost everyone I know has a small cold at the moment - seems to be going around.

Hi Billy

I know exactly where you are at, and have lots and lots of sympathy for you.
I was like you getting to the stage where my Labs wasn't clearing, but I was starting to control it for the majority of the time, rather than it controlling me.
Then I got struck down with Bronchitis, and bang all the hard work seemed to have been undone and my confidence was back at an all time low.

But please believe that after the cold/sinus issue that has bought your downer on has gone, you will pick up faster than before.

Try not to let this set you back, look at it as a blip, a totally shi..y one, that kicks you when you are down, but a temporary blip.

It always helps to sound off when you are feeling down, I know it does when I am in down mode.

Hope you are back on the up pretty damn quick.

Love Dizzy Di

Hi Billy,

I so sympathize and empathize with your plight. I have the exact same situation going on and am ready to just... I don't even know. I hope that you feel better really soon and that you can leave the anxiety and frustration behind you. I am a driven person, too, and am wondering about the future of my career if this doesn't lighten up. I'll advise to you what's been advised to me, ... rest, try to go easy, and distract yourself if at all possible.

By all means have a good old rant Billy!

Sometimes it can do you the world of good just getting all your frustrations out your system to people who understand and empathise with your condition.

I admire your drive and determination and I hope you start to reap the benefits of your hard work soon.

Hang in, things do get better mate

Hi Billy, steam those sinuses to help them clear - add a drop of Karvol or a little bit of Vicks Vaporub to the water if you like. If you do it twice a day it'll really help.
Hope you fel better soon
