Hi everybody, I got my results on the tests done by my neurotologist...believe it or not the tests indicate my ears are good...he said my dizziness is not caused by an inner ear problem and that it is neurological in nature, i did indicate nystagmus with the tests, etc but he thinks it's neurologically related and has referred me to a neurologist and a neuro-opthamalogist(this because so much of my dizziness is in my left eye)...frankly I don't know what's going on with me but I'm wondering if anyone on here has any idea...I'm pretty depressed about all this and I'm wondering if anything can be done about it.

Wow, Petey. It's kind of hard to argue with a neurotologist after we have recommended them so much. I can see how you are discouraged. I remember when my problem first started, I went to an ENT and he gave me some tests (don't remember what) and told me that I had all the symptoms of Menierre's Disease but that I didn't have it. He said it definitely wasn't my ears. Well, he was wrong. It did turn out to be Menierre's. Hopefully, the Neuro Ophthalmologist can shed some light on it. It seems that our conditions are difficult to diagnose but you'll get your answer. It just seems to take a while. Yvonne
