Default Where has everyone gone?

Hello all,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this so apologies if wrong!

I have noticed that since the new software on the website has been implemented some members have not been posting at all. I am wondering if like myself they had difficulties with it. Or are they better now and do not need to post anymore?

There used to be individuals that posted quite regularly and I added them to my friends list but now the site has been updated I dont have them on my friends list anymore so cannot contact them and even if I could maybe there messaging options are not turned on.

It just seems a real shame so basically if you know me and used to post to me are you still on this website?!

Regards

Wendy

Hi Wendy
I've noticed from time to time that people who were regular posters are busy or back at work and don't come on the site anymore, then some of our newer members become regular posters - it's like a cycle. As people get well enough to resume their lives they don't have the time or maybe just want to move on - that's why we always ask people to come back and post their story in the Success Stories forum.
I think anyone who had problems with the new software have been sorted out - James dealt with all that. We had to switch on our Private Messages ourselves so anyone who hasn't been on since then won't have done it.
I know how you feel, I hate to lose touch with people I got to know here and I often wonder how they're doing.
If you go to your friends' profile page there might be a way to send them an email through the site - they'll get notification in their normal mail account.

Hiya Wendy,
I remember you!!!!!! Like Pammy I also wonder sometimes how some folk are doing.

On my part I am on the site less than I used to, mainly because I am trying to up my hours at work as always and have so much to do!! My life has also got fuller and busier as I can manage more and more. I always think in a way that not hearing from someone, or less so, is good news in a way because it probably means their out enjoying life to the max, although I know what you mean about missing folks.

How are you getting along? Well I hope.

Take care,
Clare xxx

Hi Wendy

I suppose some people have decided to just go on with their lives. It can be a tad sad though
getting use to some folks then *poof* they have gone into the wood work.
But a few of us veterans are still milling about

I'm still about, if somebody cares
Haven't written much because I don't have much worth writing about right now, I'm still where I've been pretty much all along. That, and little activity on the forums means nothing else to respond to, either.

Hello Wendy (and everyone else!)
I too, have been bad at not posting recently but spring has finally sprung in this corner of Canada and since I live on a farm, with apple and pear orchard as well as a huge vegetable garden ... this is a busy season for me, dizzy or not!

Dizzies have not been as bad recently (almost afraid to put this in writing!) and I suspect the weather has helped a bit (sleeping with opened windows and getting all that fresh farm air likely helps clear sinuses too)

I do think of all of you despite being busy and I remember all of you in my evening prayers, asking God to make you all better very soon (me included too! ) and wondering what everyone is up to (hoping you are all behaving!)

Hugs to everyone and Happy Mother's Day to all Canadian Mums reading this for tomorrow.

Will post more often when I can take a longer break from gardening/cutting grass/teaching my wee ones/planting/ etc.

Claire in sunny Canada

Claire, it's lovely to hear from you again - I often think of you pottering in your vegetable garden. Happy Mother's Day tomorrow, I hope you have a lovely day

We do care Tranquility, very much so. We have times when the site is quiet for various reasons then we are busy again but we are always here if someone needs help.

Claire, nice to see you back hun, your orchards sound lovely but hard work. bet its worth it though for all those homemade fruit pies you can make lol.
