Default I see a specialist Aug 13th! Yay!

Hi All,

I've been a bit dizzy recenlty so I've been having problems keeping up with the posts... sorry if I left anyone hanging with anything unreplied..

I just wanted to share with you that I finially got an appointment to see the Otolaryngologist for Aug 13th!! Yay, Yay! After almost a year I'm finially getting somewhere!!!

It took a lot of persistance and dealing with some fax that kept getting 'lost' but luckily during all my follow up calls the receptionist heard my story and thought it was best that I see someone as soon as possible.

I only hope and pray that this Doctor will have the answer that I'm looking for. Hopefully he's versed on PLFs.

If anyone has any 'tips' on how to deal with a busy Doctor lemme know. I plan to send a list of my symptoms and history beforehand so I'm not there recalling it while face to face. Plus I'm brining all my tests for him to review and will just try to keep it very simple and uncomplicated for him.

Dizzy but relieved!

Christine

Christine,

I am so excited for you! It sounds like you have everything covered, but if I think of any additional things, I'll post.

Congratulations! Persistence pays off!!!

Great news.

Write everything down, take the list with you, and dont leave until you have gone through everything. YOU have waited a long time for this so use the time allocated to YOUR advantage.

Thanks everyone! I'll keep you all posted!! I'm really hoping this is the guy who will say "oh yes, I understand your symptoms prefectly and I've see this before.. he's how we fix it". Wouldn't those words be nice? That's all I need to hear :-)
